Casio Renews Partnership with The Crystal Method

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CASIO RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CRYSTAL METHOD

The Crystal Method as Brand Ambassadors Will Support Casio’s Mission to Make Music Accessible for All

DOVER, NJ (September 12, 2014) Casio America, Inc., an industry leading manufacturer of electronic musical instruments, today announced the renewal of its partnership with The Crystal Method as official brand ambassadors through 2015. The Crystal Method, consisting of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, is one of America’s best known electronic artists with a career spanning 20 years including two Grammy nominations and a platinum selling album. Their self-titled fifth studio album was released earlier this year and the group is currently on tour in the U.S.

“The Crystal Method is a pioneer in the electronic dance music industry and given the ongoing popularity and success of this genre over the past two years, it was just a natural fit to continue working together,” said Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instruments Division. “We are proud to have these respected artists remain within our partnership roster.”

Since originally signing on as brand ambassadors in 2012, The Crystal Method has supported Casio through a variety of programs including the launch of the XW-G1 Groove Synthesizer and an appearance at the 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival. The duo also uses the XW-G1 on stage, which Ken Jordan stated was an “integral and effortless element of our performances.”

“We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with Casio as brand ambassadors,” said Jordan. “Whether we’re creating live remixes or laying down quick ideas for beats, nothing compares to the versatility and control that our Casio gear gives us.”

As part of this latest agreement, The Crystal Method will continue to support Casio by using its instruments and technologies on-stage and in the studio. The duo will also participate in event and trade show appearances, media interviews, and new product launches.
