CASIO G-SHOCK INTRODUCES LATEST CONNECTED GRAVITYMASTER AT BASELWORLD 2018
New Models Feature Stylish Two-Tone Band and Flight Countdown Timer

MESSE BASEL, SWITZERLAND, MARCH 22, 2018 -Casio G-SHOCK unveils the GRB100, the latest addition to the men's GRAVITYMASTER series, at Baselworld. Simplifying the flight tracking process, the new flight log function in the GRB100-1A3 will make plotting time and location easier, displaying travel history on the G-SHOCK app. Additionally, a 5-schedule digital display countdown timer for upcoming trips within the app assists in time management which is essential for pilots.

Using Bluetooth®, the watch connects to the G-SHOCK Connected smartphone app to keep accurate time, including adjusting for daylight saving time and changes in time zones. One new feature of the GR-B100 is a countdown alarm that can count down to a specified date and time, rather than just time, with the ability to label the event. The countdown to each event can be displayed on the watch down to the exact second, for detailed time management. The watch also has a flight log function for recording time and location data, with the ability to examine points and routes flown on a map from within the app.

The new GRAVITYMASTER comes in 3 colorways, GRB100-1A2 features a blue two-tone layered band of black and blue with a blue IP bezel, the GRB100-1A3 features a black and green layered band with a gray IP bezel, and the GRB100-1A4 has a black and orange band with a rose gold IP bezel and will be on display from March 22-24 at the Casio booth, located in Hall 1.1 B67, B71.

Geared towards aviation professionals, the latest GRAVITYMASTER model boasts connected Bluetooth capabilities, tough solar technology, and G-SHOCK’s Multi-Band 6 technology for atomic watches, which provides accurate timekeeping virtually anywhere via radio signals from up to six different transmitters worldwide.

The watch also comes equipped with standard G-SHOCK technology of 200M water resistance and shock resistance, as well as a full auto LED light, 1/1000th second stopwatch and multi-function alarm, 1/10th second countdown timer, full auto calendar, world time (with 39 time zones / 39 cities + UTC) and 12/24 hour formats – all in a 53.8 mm case.

The GRB100 will retail for $300 beginning in August 2018 and will be available for purchase at select Macy's, select Jewelers, gshock.com, and the G-SHOCK Soho Store.

About G-SHOCK
CASIO’s shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe’s dream of ‘creating a watch that never breaks’.
