FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
1 . By providing the best tools possible, Casio strives to help students find a long-lasting passion for music. As part of Casio’s ongoing commitment to support music education, the company recently donated a variety of digital pianos to the Jazz Education Network (JEN), Leverett Elementary School in Arkansas, and to 10 Berklee City Music Network locations including the Boys & Girls Harbor in New York City.
“Casio is committed to supporting music education and delivering high-quality tools to help foster a love of music among students," said Stephen Schmidt, vice president of Casio’s Electronic Musical Instruments Division. “Music in Our Schools Month is a wonderful time for students to explore music and our Privia digital pianos are ideal tools to help start the learning process due to their versatility, portability and high-quality sound."
The latest addition to Casio’s well-known Privia digital piano line is the PX-160, which features amazing new tones and enhanced performance capabilities. As a successor to the popular Privia PX-150, this 88-key digital piano comes equipped with Casio’s proprietary AiR technology
, which redefines the digital piano experience with richer and more genuine sounds by reproducing the sound of the finest acoustic grand pianos. The multi-dimensional AiR sound generation included in the PX-160 features the sound of a 9-foot concert grand at four dynamic levels, and utilizes Casio’s remarkable Tri-Sensor Hammer Action II keyboard. The simulated ebony and ivory-textured keys produce an incredible, grand piano feel. Other major enhancements of the PX-160 include ¼" audio outputs, dual headphone jacks on the front panel of the keyboard, 128 notes of polyphony, 18 total instrument tones and duet mode for teacher and student play.
