Lineup of Stamp Makers Let Users Make One-of-a-Kind Creations

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, January 7, 2014 — Casio America, Inc. announced today that it will exhibit its Japanese lineup of stamp makers at the 2014 International Consumer Electronic Show (CES). Geared for design and crafting enthusiasts, Casio’s stamp maker gives consumers the ability to create one-of-a-kind stamps through a quick and easy process. The new stamp maker will be on display in Casio’s booth (#10904) during the International CES at the Las Vegas Convention Center, January 7-10, 2014.

“Consumers want to express their personality when they are crafting, and being able to use customizable tools is crucial to that expression,” said Shigenori Itoh, CEO of Casio America Inc. “Casio’s stamp makers enhance customization efforts and are useful for a multitude of personalized crafting and decorating activities including special occasion and holiday cards, scrapbooks and more.”

With the new Casio stamp maker, consumers can create the surface of a stamp by choosing from the basic stamp designs using an application on a PC or smartphone. They can also combine preset illustrations and frames with text they input themselves to create customized items like telephone memos, business cards and scrapbooks. Finally, consumers can use their own handwritten illustrations or photographs and apply digital effects such as “realism” or “comic” to make a unique stamp.
