Luxury MR-G Hammer Tone to Release March 2016

Dover, NJ, March 8, 2016 - Casio G-SHOCK unveils their new limited edition Hammer Tone MR-G, available select high-end retailers from July 2016.

This special edition timepiece is designed using the Japanese Tsu-i-ki technique; a traditional craft method that creates unique relief patterns through hammering. Oboro-gin is a stunning dark silver hue while Akagene is a handsome copper alloy with 3-5% gold. Both materials are native to traditional Japanese craftwork.

Upholding the unparalleled craftsmanship and reliability that G-SHOCK MR-G wearers have come to expect, the MRGG1000HT features a GPS controlled Multi-Band 6, Tough solar, Sapphire Glass (Anti-Glare). The case and bracelet are made out of Titanium and undergo a deep layer hardening process and DLC coating making it exquisitely tough.

This exclusive timepiece also comes equipped with shock resistance, 200 M Water Resistance, Latitude Indicator, Airplane Mode, World Time (40 time zones, 27 Cities+UTC), LED (Super Illuminator), Daily Alarm, Full Auto Calendar, 1/20th Sec. About G-SHOCK
CASIO’s shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe’s dream of ‘creating a watch that never breaks’. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as ‘the toughest watch of all time’. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe’s mantra “never, never give up".
